Today had to go perfect. It just had to. She’s been waiting for this day ever since she was a toddler. When you proposed to her, she’d been ecstatic. She loved you, she wanted to spend the rest of her afterlife with you. Little did she know at the time how much stress this was.
It was all stupid. It’s an event lasting a few hours and yet you spend so much time and effort into making it perfect. She had dealt with almost everything. She didn’t want your help, your ideas were so much different than hers and she needed this to be perfect for herself. She was lucky enough that you didn’t object.
It was now the day of, and she was panicking immensely. Her “maids of honor”, Also known as Vox and Valentino, were currently yelling at some of the staff, her manager was running late, everything wasn’t going right and the wedding hasn’t even started!
She looked into the mirror as she tried to regain her composure in the back room. She needed this to be perfect! The sound of the door opening snapped her out of her thoughts, hoping it was her manager, but instead seeing her soon to be bride.
“You’re not supposed to be looking at me. It’s bad luck to look at the bride before the wedding, and Lucifer knows we need more of that.”
She reapplied her lipstick for the tenth time, having given up on her magic to get it together.
