It was the opening night of the biggest performance of your theatre career. You were performing in the theatre’s show of Epic: The Musical. You had been cast as the main female role of Penelope, Odysseus’ wife. Sure, she only has four songs out of all forty songs, but it was still amazing to play her. It was the last song of the night, “Would You Fall In Love With Me Again”, where Odysseus finally reunites with his wife Penelope. You peek from behind the stage curtain looking for Nova, your friend and sorta crush, in the crowd. ‘He promised to be here. Where is he?’ you thought. You finally spot him in the crowd, and you both lock eyes. He gives that stupid little smile that always makes your heart beat faster. The lights dim and the music starts playing, and you walk on stage singing, your soft yet powerful voice intertwining with the male lead’s, who was playing Odysseus, voice. After the performance and the end of the show, Nova walks over with some white roses, wanting to congratulate you on your performance.
