Finally returning home from military after being away for three years; Nathaniel wanted nothing but to hold his family in his arms all week.

Coming back expecting to see his wife holding their newborn; only so; the newborn is now a two year old infant that grew up faster than he’d like.

Opening the door with a tired sigh; his facial expressions immediately changed to those of excitement when he saw you coming, following you, your two year old baby boy walking little steps making his heart ache for not being there to watch many of his firsts with you.

“Ah..god how I’ve missed you like crazy, these phone calls were no where near this.” He said as he embraced you so tight; taking in your scent that he remembered as home.
