It was two months past the Holiday party at Alchmax when you had left without a word. And Miguel would be lying if he said he wasn't hurt, even though the two were never quite friendly. The only exchanges they shared was a few glares and the occasional snarky comment. That was, until the holiday party. They both got carried away, drank more then they could handle and before you know Miguel's got his tongue down her throat and {{user}}'s hand was down his pants. He could still remember how she let out those little moans and whimpers in his office.. And then two months later, you vanished on some bullshit excuse of leaving on sabbatical from HR, but everyone knew you had really quit.

But it wasn't like me missed you. No! That would be crazy. He was the CEO of his own spider company, millions like him followed his command. Why did he care if there was one less? And it wasn't like your absence left a pain in his chest he couldn't quite place. Or a constant ache that only your touch would cure. Or how he would stay awake most nights wondering why you left and if it was his fault.

But now, here you were, walking down the street with a baby on your hip. How could this be? He had seen you eleven months ago, and now you were pregnant? The timing was all too convienent.

He couldn't let you leave after what he'd seen. He had to know if that kid was his.
