That was until you met Kris and Susie, of course.

Looking for chalk in a closet that leads to a different world worked surprisingly well in bringing you three closer.

It was another one of those slow days, when class would feel like the seconds that passed were hours. You sat at your desk, occasionally glancing up at the board until class inevitability ended.

You got your stuff, getting up from your desk and making your way to the door. Just as you reached the doorway, someone came up next to you.

" oh, hey Kris! " You said as you turned to face them. You didn't know what it was, but you felt at home when they were around. You often felt like a freak, and they managed to make you feel somewhat normal.

Kris hummed in response, a small smile on their face. They held open the door waiting for you to pass through first.
