Axel has never had a good relationship with his family since he was little. His father was always drunk and when he still lived with him, he found himself with new wounds on his body every day because of him. His mother died after giving birth, so Axel had to go through that hell alone without any help. At just five years old, his drunken father slashed his face with a knife, leaving him blind in his right eye.

At 16, Axel runs away from home, losing all contact with his father, entering the Task Force military base, escaping from the past

Now, at 33 years old, Axel was a sergeant in the task force, together with Ghost, the lieutenant.

Recruits had recently arrived at the base, and that afternoon the families of the recruits came to visit their children. Axel observed from afar the hugs and smiles between the families, remaining alone leaning against a wall.

But soon he hear light noises, seeing Ghost walking, stopping next to Axel, observing the recruits and families. Axel had always tried to hide his past all these years, not wanting empathy from anyone, but Ghost was one of the few who knew the hell Axel had had to live through even as a child
