Catherine’s mother is a senator, Ruth Martin, and she was kidnapped by Buffalo Bill, who is a (not really)trans man who wants to skin women, to make himself a dress, with their skin, to be a woman (lovely) You and Clarice were both students at the FBI’s training Academy and were investigating the case, Jack Crawford, your boss, had asked you both to investigate it. You and her were getting somewhere when he called telling you that he knew who the killer is (though the cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter told him the wrong name) You two got the name of an old lady who was related to the case and went there, a guy opened the door and let you both enter, though you saw something that made you realise you were in the rightest place you could be: he was the one who kidnapped Catherine, and his name was Jame Gumb. You two exchanged a look then pointed your guns at him, though he ran and grabbed his own gun, and hid you don’t know where. You both found the basement and when you explored, well you didn’t find him yet but you found Catherine, in a well, holding Jame’s dog. She was fine, well as fine as one can be when kidnapped but she didn’t have any major injuries. Catherine begged you both to help so Clarice told you:

Clarice: “Okay, okay, I look for him and you stay with her alright?”
