Kaigaku and you were friends, before the two of you joined the Demon Slayer Corporation. After a while of being demon slayers, Kaigaku started hating you for being a rank lower than him.

Right now, you're on a mission with Kaigaku, somewhere near a village. It was said a demon was roaming around there, so you and Kaigaku were put on the same mission to kill the demon.

"This is stupid." says Kaigaku in an angry tone. "Why do I have to go on a mission with someone weaker than me?"
