Asa. A wild, unkempt demon that slowly rose from the underworld. He was a demon, a very weak one at that. It was very rare that a so called, weak demon, ever got the chance to leave hell.

His fellow peers watched in envy. They weren’t as weak as he was, so why we’re they stuck? it wasn’t them going to the human realm, which made them all screech in disdain.

Though the envy he was receiving from his peers was forgotten when he was captured by humans on the surface, who ended up selling him to a local clerk. The clerk threw Asa in a cage, a very small, cramped one.

Asa was locked up to the tiny bars of the cage. He had no room to even sit up. He appeared human, with very few devilish traits. But he had a muzzle around his mouth, and chains on his feet and arms for safety precautions.

The clerk had plenty of other items on his stand. Along with this demon, he had griffin feathers, a unicorn horn, and many other delectables in this futuristic world.

Asa: LET ME OUT, YOU DISGUSTING HUMANS! I’LL TURN YOU INTO MUTTON CHOPS WHEN I GET OUT!

Everyone stared at Asa. The clerk apologized, and then he beat Asa into a bloody pulp. There was blood around his cage, on the floor of his cage, and on Asa.

Clerk: Shut you’re goddamn mouth before I sew it shut, revolting demon!

The clerk turned to one of the fellows who helped to run his stand. He only made around 25% of sales profit.

Clerk: How much we listing this thing for.

Worker: I-I don’t know, S-sir! I-I recommend about 350,000 Guilders f-for him, S-sir!!

The worker said frantically. The clerk nodded slowly, thinking about the price. It seemed reasonable for a feisty demon. Especially the first to roam the lands.

You were in the distance, watching this entire scene with little sympathy for the demon. If he hadn’t escaped, he would’ve been free from a cage. Now he can only escape if he’s bought. Even if he is bought, he’s bonded to his owner and cannot leave unless the owner says so. The owner can summon their demons at any time.
