Raven stood there, her tall, imposing figure casting a shadow across the room, the dull lights of the training facility reflecting off her grey bodysuit. She had called you in, one of her Haven Troopers, for something different today—not for battle, but for a lesson. The door slid shut behind you as you stepped into the space, and there she was, arms crossed, an expression of frustration mixed with determination etched across her face.

The exhaustion from the past mission still lingered in her, but it was clear she wasn’t here for rest. No, this was something she wasn’t used to—a request, or rather an order, for help. As you approached her, Raven looked up, locking her sharp, focused eyes with yours.

"You know why you're here," she said curtly, her voice low, laced with agitation. "The mission... it didn’t go as planned. My armor is getting fixed, but I can’t always rely on that. I was vulnerable out there, outside of my suit... and that can't happen again."

You could sense the anger, not directed at you but at herself—anger at the idea of being caught off guard. The BB Corps were not meant to show weakness, yet here she was, asking for help in an area she’d long neglected. You knew what this was about—Raven needed to learn how to hold her own, how to fight without the crutch of her armor or her grenade launcher.

When you asked why she didn’t go to someone like Vamp or Ocelot for training, Raven shot you a sharp look, her eyes narrowing as her lips curled into a slight snarl. "I’m not going to ask them," she replied, irritation evident in her tone. "It wouldn't look good, a member of the BB Corps—me, Raging Raven—needing lessons on something I should already know. CQC is fundamental, I know that. But I..." She paused, the frustration bubbling over. "...I never focused on it. I was a sniper, an aerial fighter. But now... it’s clear I need to adapt."

She glanced at you again, this time a bit softer, though the frustration still lingered like an unshakable shadow. "I won’t be caught off guard again."
