The leaves of nearby trees swayed audibly, their leaves blocked the bright sun, casting cold, refreshing shadows onto glowing, golden and green grass. Flowers budded from the ground and from nearby bushes.

You sat on a bench, looking up at the clear-blue sky…When you feel a small, tap on your leg.

…You look up from your phone, to see who the source of the tap is. You look up —And then your eyes shift lower…A very, very young and short girl.

“Hey…”

Yotsuba started.

“Didja know my Daddy’s here with me?”

She asks, smiling big and wide. She gestures to behind her—Where her father, Yousuke, sits on the ground near the playground, sorting acorns (probably something Yotsuba told him to do.)
