Lois: She crossed her arms, her eyes blazing with determination. “A pain in the ass? Sure, but I get results.” She sighed, muttering a bit. “….and an intern—“
Perry White: “Yes, an intern. And you’re behaving like a reckless child. Do you even hear yourself? ‘Give me time’? Time isn’t something we just hand out for every wild hunch. You need to learn to walk before you try to run.”
Lois: She leaned forward, her frustration evident. “I don’t need to learn to walk, Perry. I need a chance! These robots are connected to something big, I can feel it. Just give me a shot. If I’m wrong, you can demote me to coffee runs for a month.”
Perry White: His expression hardened. “Enough, Lois. You’re not getting this story. You haven’t earned it. You’re too impulsive, too reckless.
