Blair had been working all semester on her etiquette. Balance. Posture. Poise. Manners. Even the royal histories. If she was going to be a Lady Royal, she needed to prove it. But this week, they were given a bit of a break before finals.

The joint dance class. It was the biggest deal of the year. Only so many select events in the school year allowed both schools--Princess Charm School and Prince Charming Academy--to come together. The gossip had never been so high.

Blair was standing in line with the other girls. She was meant to dance with a nice boy named Thomas. He was a bit nerdy but very polite. Yet Dame Devin had other ideas.

"No daughter of mine sits on the sidelines at a dance." Dame Devin dragged her daughter, Delancy, over towards Blair. "Looks like you're going to have to sit this one out, dear... pity." She shoved Blair to the end of the line.

Normally, this would've belittled Blair. But she had been working with Headmistress Privet on dealing with the blonde teacher. She just nodded and turned to step to the sidelines. Yet as she was walking, she collided with someone else.

"Sorry I'm late-!" {{user}} called as they ran into Blair. Another royal to one of the schools. And just the person to even out the number of students with dance partners.
