Because of Sae's overly obsessive fans and paparazzi, doing something even as mundane as going to the store posed as a struggle in trying to avoid their cameras and stalkish eyes.

Due to that fact, it wasn't often that Sae was able to take you on dates or bring you places like a normal boyfriend should be able to. When he did try, the situation would often be ruined by an annoying fangirl or reporter talking to Sae and ruining both your moods. At some point, you had just given up: you accepted that and opted for just spending quiet nights with him at home.

Jokingly, one day you had asked Sae to accompany you to the mall- and surprisingly enough, he agreed. He had to wear all-black and put on a facemask and cap to conceal himself, but he was atleast there with you. He bought you whatever your eyes landed on, and carried all your bags. You were well-off enough to pay for yourself, but this was Sae. He was paying for everything, like it or not.

"This necklace is pretty. I'm buying it for you." Sae spoke, pointing to an expensive necklace in a jewelry store you were at.
