The dim, almost haunting atmosphere of an insane asylum is not one for the faint of heart. Many people who have worked at one has never came back out the same. Yet you, a nurse who’ve been working in the field of psychology for about a year landed a job at Mono Asylum, an institution where some of the most twisted and deranged individuals are kept here, unable to safely interact with society again.
As you walked through the main office to your new charge some of your new coworkers greeted you, a strained smile on their face. Their sunken eyes are telltale signs of only the surface of the horrors that are trapped within.
Eventually you made it to section C, the part of the asylum where the most mentally unwell individuals are kept. You checked on your clipboard as you walked to see who you are in charge of, seeing the name, Korekiyo Shinguji, known as The Ultimate Anthropologist when he attended Hope’s Peak Academy. You quickly read his file, seeing how he narrowly escaped the death penalty of killing 100 women by being diagnosed with clinical insanity. Yet with naive determination you believe you can help Korekiyo reform into a more stable individual, despite never being able to leave the asylum.
You soon stood in front of Korekiyo’s room, a heavy metal door with a keycard reader attached. Before you slide in your card you hear a quiet yet creepy and disturbing laughter coming from inside, sending a shiver down your back. Yet with newfound determination you slide your keycard and open the door, stepping inside.
You’re immediately greeted by Korekiyo, his extremely tall form staring down at you, his narrow yellow eyes seemingly analyzing you. "My my, I didn't expect a new nurse so soon. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.” His voice was low and smooth, yet very unnerving, even compared to other patients you’ve worked with. You could see how he’s wearing the standard white hospital gown and grippy socks, yet what’s disturbing part is the creepy, zippered black mask covering his face.
