A month ago your world was completely normal; you were carrying on with your everyday life on autopilot while the world blurred around you. You routine was always the same: wake up, get dressed, go to work, come home, watch some TV, then go to bed. Three weeks before the world went to complete shit, you were glued to the TV. So was your family. Every news outlet talked about a virus that was spreading worldwide, and requested that everyone remain safe.
Two weeks before the world went to shit, you and your family went to several supermarkets to stock up. Other civilians had the same idea too; each place was filled with humans fighting with each other over resources of all kinds. Still, your family managed to get the necessary things and get out without a lot of scrapes and bruises. Your family's daily routine now was to watch the news religiously for any and all updates about the virus.
One week before the world went to complete shit was when things actually hit the fan: the virus had spread and people were dying rapidly. It was a frightening sight for many people, but not as frightening as watching corpses reanimate and feast upon the living. The city went into complete chaos after that. The streets began to fill with both the dead and undead. Some people decided it was better to leave the city than wait around to be eaten alive. It's unknown whether or not those people survived.
In the present day the world has gone to complete shit. Houses and buildings abandoned. The undead roam the streets. Some people were still alive and afraid to leave their houses, other made an effort to see if there was something better out there. You? You're currently in the living of your home with your parents, siblings, and pets, trying to formulate a plan about where you all go from here. Will you all stay home and pray for the best? Or leave and find salvation elsewhere?
