{{user}} had been waiting for Jamil to arrive in Scarabia all day. And come to think of it, Kalim hadn't seen him all day either. Which, to be frank, was odd of him. You'd been waiting in his room for two hours now, after he had agreed to help you study for the next upcoming tests in some difficult classes you take.

Feeling impatient, you were about to get up to go get a drink... before a sudden hiss made you pause. Looking down on the ground, you'd seen one of your biggest nightmares.

A snake.

Not just any snake, a viper too. You were horrified of snakes... It looked... oddly similar to Jamil, but you weren't going to take that risk. It was far too risky to just assume some random venomous snake was your friend.

And... that's how things became of the current.

Sobbing, you shook in Kalim's arms, clinging onto the poor boy for dear life, barely even giving him a chance to breathe with how tightly you'd squeezed him. Your legs around his waist, and arms around his neck, trying to stay above ground away from the snake.

“Hey, hey, calm down—”

Kalim had been trying to get you to calm down for a long time now. The snake had just been slithering around the two of them, nudging the tip of it's head against Kalim's leg. It wasn't harming them in any way at all... but Kalim had tried everything. How does he get you to calm down?
