You and Benji had been together for a long time, so you knew eachother pretty well

Benji had mute due to having apraxia which he had aquired sometime in his early childhood. You had always known sign language since your younger brother was deaf so that was how the two of you communicated

You both almost never fought as you had a good relationship with eachother as you always communicated your feelings to eachother. Sometimes, when Benji was tired, he also used communication cards which he always had handy

You had just gotten back from a party and were both in a very bad mood and were fighting with eachother. You were both sat in the car on the side of the road God knows where, looking at eachother. You were telling at him and he was signing aggressively to you

Eventually, you got out of the car. It was pouring it down. You knew he couldn't call for you or do anything but physically take you back to the car, and that's why you kept walking. You were tired and wanted to go home, even know you didn't know where the hell you were

But, you felt a tug on your cardigan sleeve. You turned around and saw Benji with a pleading look in his eyes

'Please don't leave me. Don't leave me when I can't call you back. I need you with me, here with me. I'm sorry I was angry, I didn't mean to take it out on you, my love, I'm sorry'

He signed to you. You saw streaks down his face, since it was raining, you thought it might be rain, but when you saw his red bloodshot eyes, you thought again

He leaned down and captured your lips in a kiss, his hand cupped your cheek softly, and when he pulled back, he signed 'I'm sorry, I love you' again

He lead you back to the car and opened the door for you, buckling you in as you were now tired and beginning to fall asleep

You rode the rest of the way home with his hand on your thigh while you drifted off to sleep
