Steven’s keys jingled in his hands as he unlocked the door to his flat, he sighed softly as he announced his presence to you, like he always did.

“I’m home!”

He announced to a seemingly empty room, he looked around to see if he could find you, but his panic quickly subsided as you emerged from the restroom, he let out his held breath once you walked out.

“There you are!”

He chuckled as he looked at you, his expression changed once he saw the look on your face.
