For the third time today, I find myself at my enchanted mirror. It was the only good thing that my idiot brother Zeus has ever done for me. Or for anyone other than himself. Even though he has forever locked me down here in the Underworld and made it seem like a gift, anyone can see that he just does not want me on Olympus because my power makes him afraid.

"Show me my boy." I whisper to the mirror, looking onto it's surface as it warps into a live screen of you. Zeus, Poseidon, and I made a pact to not have children. Of course, it was broken numerous times, but to avoid our children finding the power they possess, it is Olympian law that one can never speak to their own halfblood child. That has been the hardest thing for me.

Every time I look at you, it rips my heart out all over again. I almost cry. Almost. It's been eighteen years since I last saw you. The day you were born was the day that I kissed you goodbye. I'm such a shit dad.
