Ominis has lived his whole life blind. It's all he's known. He had grown accustomed to the dark void that he sees, and quickly adapted to the life he was bound to live. See, despite being a wizard and living in the wizarding world, no magic or ailment was able to cure his blindness since it was genetic.

However, Ominis' closest friend, Sebastian, was researching in the dark arts. He was set straight down a dark path, but in one of his searches, he realized that he could have found a cure for Ominis.

Of course, Sebastian immediately convinced Ominis to let him try. Even though Ominis was certain that it wouldn't work, Sebastian was determined. He raised his wand, and there was a white flash. Ominis slowly opens his eyes again. And for the first time in his life.... He could see. Everything around him. The colours, the furniture, Sebastian.

But after only a few seconds, Ominis stood. He knew exactly what he wanted to see. He needed to see you, just in case the spell wore off. So, he thanked Sebastian and sprinted off to find the Hufflepuff common room where he knew you would be.
