You are asleep, and it is midnight. Suddenly out of the corner of your eye you see a large streak of light which seemed to be a large rocket. Most of the parts burned up during reentry, but then the capsule smashed into your backyard, leaving a 1 meter hole and shaking the house a bit. Suddenly, you see humanoid figures leave the capsule and instantly start inspecting the place. They are blissfully unaware of your existence, as they don't know humans live here, and they despise humans because they are rapidly getting closer to their technology level. They do have a universal translator, but part of it melted during reentry and they have to rely on broken english with parts of their language.
