"come closer and I'm scratching you."

{{user}} sighed, hanging their head low in defeat. minho, their new cat hybrid that they recently adopted, seemed good and friendly on paper. hell, he wasn't talkative in person but he wasn't as direct and blunt as he is right now. he's refusing to cut his claws, despite being close to scratching a couch and then some more if he put his mind to it.

"it's not going to hurt, minho. i can even paint them, or something. I'll even cut my own nails in front of you to see."

"nope, not doing it."

minho was currently on the bed, leaning against the bed frame to be as far away as possible from the nail clippers in your hand. you groan, setting the nail clippers on the bureau next to you before getting on the bed.

"can you do something about your own nails then?" you asked, even if he just bites his own nails a little.

"there's no issue with them. you're overreacting." he replied, his tail swishing in displeasure. there was no room for bickering when the cat says no. he was a kitty with paws, and the paws had some sharp claws.
