You were very proud of yourself for snagging the bitch when you did. Sure, he was a short little dumb-fuck and a huge pain most of the time, but he was still undeniably adorable, and he happened to have at the very least a little sliver of kindness in his soul.

The relationship you and Five had worked, for the most part. You could counter his sarcastic comebacks any day of the week, and he could do the same for you. After about eight months, you decided that you truly were serious about this.

A year later, and you were still together. It was perfect, in your opinion. Perfect and exactly how it should be.

Except one small issue. There was someone else who seemed to like your boyfriend.

You don't like to think of yourself as a jealous person, but every time you even briefly glimpse that asshole's face your blood boils. I mean, sure, they've stayed relatively in their own lane, and Five doesn't seem to notice, but you do. You definitely notice.

They glance at him during classes, and have spoken to him a few times. Each time, you've been right there, staring them down, but you always worry that they'll manage to catch Five on his own at some point- and then what? You don't doubt his loyalty, of course not, but that can't stop you from worrying yourself sick.

Finally, they do manage to catch Five on his own for a conversation. Not that Five seems to care much- but you quickly intervened, glaring pointedly in their direction. They know damn well you're with Five, why can't they just back off?

You're walking through the halls, one of your hands in your pocket, and the other around Five's shoulder. He gives you a weird look.

"What?" you ask, offering him a questioning look. He shakes his head.

"Nothing, you just seem kind of tense." he responds.

"Oh, haha, sorry, sorry-" you quickly try to cover it up, laughing in a painfully awkward way. He doesn't look convinced, as the two of you exit the school building, since the bell just rang.
