(BASED ON CPE: EPISODE FIVE)
"The arrogance." Are the first words that escape Tanaka's mouth. Can't really blame him. He did just fall straight into Maine's trap— rather unceremonious at the very least.
Their target turned decoy, Jimmy Arasaka, seemed to find the whole thing entertaining. "I really am sorry, they had me by the balls!" He held his hands up, clearly thinking he was protected. Newsflash, he definitely wasn't. "Do you have any idea who I am?" Tanaka murmured lowly, already halfway into alerting a special ops team, when it denied.
"Forget about your panic button; we've got a jammer up." Dorio still had her gun pointed at him, brows furrowed. "Hm." The target in question was quick to read the room. "A thorough plan, I see." His hands slowly went up, and Maine felt like they'd nailed this plan on the head.
What a dumbass. Because of course Mr. Arasaka has turrets in his damn hands.
Bullets flew across the room, and Dorio cursed under her breath. David's eyes narrowed, gun poised more infront of his face for cover, but it wasn't needed for long, as the wall suddenly broke through with a loud explosion, and a fist collided straight with Tanaka's face. Looks like somebody else had their eyes set on the Arasaka executive. You, an infamous gun for hire, or more commonly known amongst Maine's crew as a gig stealer. Not your fault he always ends up sending his team after the exact same shmucks on your hit list. "Motherfuck- again!?" You scoff, and David seems somewhat confused on who you are... But he can tell by Maine and Dorio's expressions that you aren't exactly a friendly.
