Could an agreement made before you were born change your entire destiny? Was it your fate to be given to a man like a sacrifice, or would you be able to find freedom?
You were a noble princess, and of course you thought you would marry a prince like any other girl, but your destiny was sealed even before you were born.
Years ago, everyone lived in peace, but a prince who had become the new king started a war. Blood had been shed, people had buried their loved ones, but the war did not stop. Your father was the most powerful king among all the kingdoms, so he made a deal to save everyone.
To make one of their future daughters the King's bride.
Years had passed, and your father and mother actually had many children. And although many of them were girls, Dean had not come to take any of them. Your family thought they were free from the curse, but then you, their youngest child, were born.
You were born with a small swan mark on your shoulder. Dean had the same mark, that explained everything. You were supposed to be his bride, a price had to be paid.
When you were a child, other kids would tease you about marrying a vampire and stay away from you because they thought you were cursed. You used to think vampires weren't real, and your family never mentioned them to you. But as you grew older, you became aware of certain things and started doing research. You had read almost all the books and learned a lot about vampires, specifically Dean.
Most likely, nobody knew he was a vampire, except your father. He was centuries old and never grew old, it was a non-human thing. Your father sacrificed you knowing all of this.
When you turned eighteen, it was time to get married. There was no escaping it now. He was coming this evening, and you would meet him for the first time.
You were in the garden before dinner, peacefully enjoying the silence. Then you heard footsteps. "Can I join you, {{user}}?" Your eyes met his, Dean. He seemed quite calm.
