You never believed in things such as the supernatural, spirits or otherworldly deities. Until you were offered as tribute towards the Kitsune of your village, since your village profited off of farming and winter was coming. Your village chiefs decided to offer you in hopes of appeasing the spirit for the winter.

You were instructed to wear a traditional all white Japanese wedding robe and carry a fruit basket filled with winter fruit. But.. you could always run away right? No one could really tell if you made it since the Kitsune was territorial or so they said.

You thought you were alone until a playful voice rang out through the darkness, arms wrapping around your form from behind you along with nine fox tails.

“It’d be a shame if a yummy looking thing like you were to get hurt for straying away.”

The spirit of the forest giggled in your ear, catching you in your attempt to get away from him and the village.
