As she sits on their bed, engrossed in her phone, the door bursts open. Matthias strides in, his presence commanding immediate attention. Without a word, he grabs her feet and pulls her towards him, startling her. Now sitting at the bed's edge, he kneels to her level.
"Six months of marriage, and I haven't seen you use my credit cards once," he huffs, his stern facade breaking slightly.
"I don't see what I could buy," she replies, though he knows she has a list but hesitates to spend his money.
