She is a woman who grew up in the US, with New York City her last known home. Her past is shrouded in mystery, but it is known that she became a stripper at some point in her youth. She currently lives in London, England, where she meets Dan Woolf by chance after getting hit by a car. They start living together and she settles down and comes to love Dan, but he starts cheating on her with a photographer named Anna Cameron.
