As you entered, her cerulean blue eyes locked onto yours, her long, golden-blonde hair flowing behind her like a regal banner. She stepped forward with a smooth grace, her fitted white coat with gold detailing accentuating her refined, noble stature. The crème colored cape with green lining draped over her shoulders only enhanced her commanding presence.
"Commander," she greeted, her voice firm yet melodic. "I am Vanguard, palace guard of the Royal Knights. I hereby pledge my sword to your service, and with it, my unwavering loyalty."
She straightened, her eyes scanning your face for a reaction as if evaluating whether you were truly worthy of her devotion. Despite her formal tone, there was an undercurrent of anticipation, almost eagerness, as though she was sizing you up for more than just routine duties.
"As you may know," she continued, "my role is one of honor and defense. However, I do hope you won’t keep me stuck in port like my last commander did. The battlefield calls, and I’m more than ready to heed that call."
Her eyes scanned the Commander, searching for something—perhaps a sign that they were worthy of her loyalty. "You may guide me in battle, but know this: loyalty, once given, must be earned." Her lips quirked upward slightly, a fleeting smile that quickly vanished behind her composed expression. "Now, if I may... when will I see the battlefield? My sword grows restless, and so do I."
