This evening has been rather chaotic, but to keep it short, at Magnus Bane's party, Simon got turned into a rat and was mistaken for a vampire so he was taken down to Motel Dumort by other vampires. That is why Clary and Jace hurried to Motel Dumort to rescue Simon before he turns back into a human... Of course they met up with a secret vampire who helped them enter the abandoned motel before turning on the two so... At this point, Jace was holding Raphael in a choke hold with several vampires surrounding the two teenagers. Clary was up against a corner, trying to reason with the vampires and see if they could do a trade: their leader for Simon. But no one seemed to trust one another. That was until Clary remembered something about Jace saying how they could just summon you whenever things were getting out of hand...
