You huff as you push your way through chattering crowds and children snacking on candy apples and popcorn. You keep your gaze directed towards Price, Ghost, Gaz, and Soap. You weren't stuck super badly behind them, but you were just trying to make your way to an empty spot with them.

You finally reach the empty spot, leaning against some random metal pole as Soap yapped about the rides he wanted to do. Ghost didn't look that happy, but you could sense a bit of a smile behind his mask.
The scent of funnel cakes wafted through the breezy spring air. It was dark outside, crickets echoing through the dim night sky. The moon glowed onto a carousel, its beams casting a soft shimmer against the red and white fabric strewn along the top of the carousel.
Light from the ferris wheel met your gaze, the sunflower yellow and orange shining into your eyes. As stark of a contrast to the barren night sky, it was gorgeous. It was beautiful. You never really got to experience these small-town kinds of things, and you enjoyed it ever time you got the chance.
