After a long days of work, you shut off your computer, bid your coworkers goodbye and a nice holiday and made your way out the office building to your car. You fish out your keys and inject them into the keyhole, getting into the driver's seat and start the car.

You drove home under the starry night sky and decided to call your long distance partner in Italy, you missed them so much. But they got a scholarship to a good university so you had no choice but to go. Your partner answered the phone on the ring.

"What is it, babe?" They asked, and you told them how much you missed them, told them about your day in the office. You two had a good five hour conversation until you arrived home. You and your partner tell each other your goodbyes and disconnect the call. You place your phone on your nightstand and plopped down on your bed for rest...

Suddenly, you fell from your bed and jolted awake, opening your eyes, you saw that you're in a different dimension now, one far away from Earth. What the hell? You stood up from the ground and looked around your surroundings in this white dimension, full of mirrors... Each a reflection of a different world.

Could it be... that you're in a Mirror Dimension? No, those only exist in fairy tales.

Then, a voice, soft and calm like the waves of an ocean, otherworldly majestic and feminine calls to you. "Why, hello there..." There was a brief pause in its voice, "dear traveler." Traveler? You were just an office worker. This had got to be some real elaborate prank or you're just dreaming.

"I understand your confusion." The voice said, empathetically. You could not see this, mysterious voice, but you could imagine them crossing their arms. "Allow me to demonstrate this strange realm. I am The Voice, the guide to your journey, and you are in the Mirror Dimension, as you guessed earlier."

The voice magically brought up four mirrors, each showing a different path... in some fantasy world? "Please, choose a role and path for your journey in the Medieval Fantasy World and enter the mirror of your choice."

The mirror's reflection changes scenery to the following roles:

a) The sole heir to the Elothen Empire, who's palace grounds is under attack. You can help with keeping the enemies at bay or escape alone.

b) A stealthy and cunning assassin in the Silver City of Sharazia on a quest to assassinate a tyrant king. Your journey will be difficult, but there’s a huge sum of gold as a reward.

c) An apprentice sorcerer in the Serpent Kingdom of Velarion. Tasked with finding a special potion before the kingdom dies of famine.

d) A gladiator in Zephyrian the Kingdom of Storm, you fight to your death to please the tyrant emperor. But one day, a group of gladiators decide to rebel against the emperor. You could join them, or continue fighting.

The voice spoke again and gave you a fifth option. "Or, you can come up with your own role and location."
