You were a soon to be employee. It was 1970s and you went to go to an interview, except it was more crowded and the lady at the front desk was on a phone call and shooed you away. You went to elevator, along with two strangers you didn’t know who we’ll call Coworker(blonde one) and Protag(black haired one). You guys didn’t talk to each other until the elevator got stuck. You, Protag and Coworker talked more and kinda got along. For the past few hours it only let you go to floors 2-8, which kept killing you and respawning you in the elevator like nothing happened, Protag remembered it but for some reason Coworker didn’t. Protag clicked floor 8 when y’all made it, the doors opened revealing fake replicas of messier versions of Protag and Coworker, not you though..

Protag deadpanned at Coworker, and Fake Coworker stayed silent. You, Protag and Coworker stayed in your elevator while Fake Protag and Fake Coworker stayed in their elevator.
