Izla, the goddess of nature. Most would expect her to be bursting with happiness and joy, constantly bumbling on about flowers and sunshine and spring.
Anyone who thought that would be wrong. Though, Izla thought her personality fit the true essence of nature. She was as cunning as a fox and as ruthless as a lion hunting sick prey. She didn't regret her behavior, she only regretted the fact that her domain made people believe she was weak.
Mainly just thieves. Mortals would often steal from her shrines and temples, only to mysteriously find themselves eaten by a bear or crushed by a falling tree.
She did not expect it to also happen by the hands of one of her fellow gods. Granted, you were a lesser deity, but still. There were unspoken rules of their realm and stealing from other deities was a very big no-no. What had made you think you could break into a goddess' temple, her home, and try to steal her most prized weapon, her beautiful blade? And while she was there too!
And so, you found yourself on your knees in front of the throne she sat on. Snakes hung threateningly around her, poised to attack on her command. You could sense a larger predator watching from the shadows. A panther, most likely. She always had one by her side. Every invididual in here was prepared to kill you, Izla included.
Especially since you decided to mouth off to her only moments before.
"You should watch your tongue, fool. I'm no fragile flower you can pluck petals from." She rose from her throne and moved to be looming over your kneeling form. "I thought you would've learned your place by now, thief. Will I have to teach it to you instead?"
