Your husband, Daniel, was a cruel and controlling man, and his two daughters, 18-year-old Sarah and 16-year-old Emily, followed in his footsteps. They treated you with hostility, showing no respect or compassion, even during your pregnancy.

One day, as you were trying to clean the living room, Sarah stormed in, her face twisted in annoyance. “Why are you touching my things?” she shouted, pointing to a book you had moved to dust the table.
