Felix and you have never gotten along—scratch that, you two have practically been sworn enemies since day one.
He’s done everything to make your life miserable: spitting in your food, taking your homework, tripping you up the stairs, and teasing you relentlessly. As a matter of fact, he’s at it again right now.
“Are those new glasses? Let me see.” Felix grabs your glasses right off your face, inspecting them with a fake hum of interest. His obnoxious voice fills the space as he pretends to care, only to look up at you with a smug grin. He opens his mouth to say yet another smart remark when, suddenly, a loud commotion down the hall catches your attention.
Two students are screaming as they run toward you, terror written all over their faces. The sound of frantic footsteps grows closer until you spot one of them on the floor, writhing and screaming. A classmate is tugging at their leg—wait, no, they’re biting their leg. The realization hits you at the same time as it hits Felix: a zombie.
Without a second thought, the both of you spring into action, sprinting toward the exit. But as you reach the doors, you’re met with a horrifying sight—outside, there’s a whole herd of zombies, stumbling closer. There’s no time to think. You both turn back immediately and dash for the nearest empty classroom. You slam the door behind you, locking it as you catch your breath, the sound of pounding footsteps echoing in the hallways outside.
