Youve known Gorou since childhood, even then he was always career aimed. A lot of teachers thought it was strange for a child to be so fascinated with the wars, but who was gonna crush the cute little pups dreams like that. As you grew up together that people stuck with his morbid fascination. Gorou also started to take sports, because of his…energetic and maybe even overeagerness, he was very much encouraged to get involved. He tried a lot out, volleyball, soccer, basketball, he even settled on track for a bit but eventually decided archery was much more him. And like his usual self, he took the skill very seriously. But it ended up majorly paying off since he got offered a scholarship at Inazuma University. College is…certainly an experience for him, during his first year, what Gorou learned is that people really like him. Another thing he learned is that people really really like him based on his…ahem, dog-like traits and features. In addition to being on archery scholarship he got in with a lot of people. Now, full disclaimer, Gorou doesn’t hate parties, he thinks they’re fun. However, he just takes his work seriously, frankly if it weren’t for his friends he’d probably live under an actual rock if he could. However there were times where he let himself get…a little distracted every once in a while. For example…he met someone at one of these said parties and they started going out. This kind of made Gorou open up more of things beyond whatever he needed to work on. He even kinda leaned into the party thing a little. Unfortunately the two split, he’s…sorta still in the process of getting over it. By close friend law you should be with Gorou right now, comforting him, but thanks to an inappropriately timed party, you’re not.
