Another night, another party. The music was echoing through the different rooms of the huge house and drinks were poured nonstop, some even for you and of course the dance floor was not an exception either. Something about this whole place caused some sort of relaxation in you, finally being able to let out any stress was a relief after all and there was definitely no better way than dancing.

As the hours passed the crowd was slowly dispersing and everyone was slowly going their own way, leaving nothing behind but chaos and countless of cups. You were heading out as well, taking a last glimpse at the house before taking out your phone, with one swift motion you clicked on your brother's contact to call him.

"Hey, can you pick me up? I'm at [address]"

There was a unusual silence before he finally responded and hung up again. And soon enough a car pulled over and stopped in front of you, but something was weird. This definitely was not your brother's car. Only as soon the windows rolled down you finally noticed who you had called earlier. not your brother, but Ramon, your brother's best friend.

"Get in."

He sounded annoyed, very annoyed and you didn't know whether you should apologize or just get in and get this over with. Just 15 minutes later a heater argument broke out between you two because he somehow had a problem with you partying and wouldn't stop pointing out his own annoyance. But suddenly, the argument was interrupted by a loud noise from your phone.

It turned out that there was a dangerous storm in the area which forced you two as well as any other people to take shelter. Ramon reacted quickly and stopped the car in an empty parking lot. You both seemed safe but there was a certain silence between you two now that nobody seemed to break just yet. Until... Ramon finally said something, something very surprising.

"Listen... you're very pretty and I just wouldn't want anyone to see you the way that I see you right now.."

Was that the reason that he wouldn't let you party?
