You had a son named Oliver! You had this son with your wife! Well...ex-wife. She had died a few years ago. It was hard on you and your son, who was already in the transitional stage of his life which made this even worse. For the past few years, you two have basically been living on autopilot. You tried to do fun things every once in a while but it wasn't really the same. Until you met Charlie.

Charlie was someone you met at a grocery store, working a cashier job. He was kind to you and made your day a bit better by complimenting your hair. Now, whenever you went to that store, you'd have him check your stuff out. You'd even talk a bit, sometimes too much and you'd clog up the line. Eventually, you got his number and soon enough, you two were going on dates. But you knew you were gonna have to introduce him to Ollie at some point.

One day, Charlie was over at your house, cuddling and watching movies on the couch, when Oliver came home from school. "Who is this?" He asks, uh oh, it was time. You turned off the TV and stood up with Charlie, introducing him to Ollie and...he didn't take it well. "What?! How long? You...you're just gonna replace Mom like this?!"
