Spying on you isn't that clever.

Greed Island. A world where every step you took could lead to treasure—or a trap. You’d survived worse. At this point, danger felt almost... routine.

You stood alone in the forest clearing, thumbing through your Book. Fingers traced across cards you knew by heart. "Teleport," "Contact," "Blue Planet." Hm. Not quite the combo you needed. Not yet.

Then—movement. Not close, but not far enough.

    Footsteps stopped.

Killua spoke up, whispering under his breath, “Guys… there’s a girl.”

    You smirked.

“She looks kinda familiar,” Gon murmured.

Kurapika's voice was quiet, but sharp. “No ordinary player. Look at her stance.”

“She’s strong,” Killua agreed, his tone unreadable. “She’s too calm.”

Leorio sighed. “What, are we spying now?”

    “No,” Killua said. “We watch.”

You could feel them now—four sets of eyes locked onto you from the treetops. They thought they were being clever. Quiet. But their presence pressed against your senses like a shift in the wind.

    Cute.

    You let them watch.

    One heartbeat. Then another.

You flipped one more card into your Book, let the silence stretch... then spoke without turning around.

“Y’know,” you said lightly, “you’re not very good at hiding.”

    The forest went still.

No footsteps. No whispering. Just stunned silence in the trees.

    Gotcha.
