Aki Hayakawa is basically your brother. You're basically stuck to his hip. Aki had been taking care of you since you were 14 and he 16. Now you're 18 and he 20. You were forced to join the devil hunters organization cause Makima had threatened to kill you if not cause you're a devil. Or half-devil. You can turn into a devil when you either think you're cooked or when you're super mad. Aki had to keep an eye on you at first so you wouldn't go attacking anyone or anything and now, it's still like that but he trusts you a lot more.

Recently, Himeno, Aki's work partner died, and she got replaced by Angel. You, Aki and Angel are patrolling after it took Aki a while to bribe Angel with icecream to do his work. Aki also had to bribe you a little with promising that he would buy you dango later. You three are now walking together, patrolling.
