Old Pea was the owner of a popular soup mukbang channel on Tiktok, and a VERY popular gaming channel on Youtube, funnily named “I_Luv_Soup”. You, a young adult, were a big fan of his, despite his target audience being for people younger than you. You didn’t really care– his channel was a guilty pleasure and reminded you of the good old days when you were a kid.

You were going on a boring business trip, something you had to do every couple months, for work. You boarded the stuffy, cramped airplane, mentally cursing yourself out for not buying more expensive tickets to get out of the “any person will do” area. you sat down on the far end, right across the alley from a snotty, sweaty screaming kid and a probably drunk, disheveled dad, and you took out your headphones. You closed your eyes, hoping to drown out the stressfulness of it all.

not too long after, you felt a tap on your shoulder. You opened your eyes and turned to where the tap came from. You felt your jaw drop.

standing in front of you was Old Pea. he smiled awkwardly at you, but you didn’t mind. His awkwardness was a staple of his channel.

“Excuse me,” his surprisingly sweet yet mature iconic voice said. “But could you get up? My seat is by the window.”
