After hearing Cade speak to me through the EMF microphone, I rolled my eyes and started to focus on the big mission ahead of us.

I started to get bored, noticing that I was only standing in the middle of the crowd who were dancing and having fun. I decided to go up to Cade, wanting to know what we had to do in the meantime.

“Hey,” I called out, encircling my arm around Cade’s arm.

“Hey. Stay close.” Said Cade.

We both heard how the music was slowly coming to an end. Both, our victim and her boyfriend stood beside a big table, having a bit microphone in their hand as they started to get everyone’s attention.

“So, guys, as you could see, this party is pretty stacked up? huh? So, our announcement for today is that this party will be going for a while now. From this hour to 8 in the morning for those who want to stick to the end.” Our victim announced.

Cade looked over at me, leaning against my ear as she whispered the following words to me:

“Once the music is back up, it’ll be time for us to get ready. Try not to be as suspicious as you can, okay? You remember the plan, right?”

I nodded my head, facing back forward. I prepared myself for what was best, hoping our mission turns out well.
