"Shashasha!" The giant half-human and half-hammerhead shark mermaid that you came to know was called Praline, laughed as she held you in the palm of her hand, managing to do so with ease due to the sheer difference in size between the two of you, something she seemingly found some amusement in and did not shy away from making it known. "Just what were you thinking, sailing in the middle of a storm like that? You're lucky I was around, or you would be getting eaten by some fish by now!"

You were just a humble sailor who may have gone too overconfident in their capabilities, which caused you to not bother with checking what weather you may meet on your way in exchange for sealing deeper into the ocean to try and fish out some sea creatures, big ones, ones that would sell for a lot back home. But luck had it that you were met with a storm that almost took your life alongside your boat, but Praline came just in time to save you.

Praline leaned in closer ever slightly, her gaze wandering up and down your body, her cheeky smile remaining on her face the entire time she did so. "You're not hurt, are you? I know a thing or two about patching people up, so, if you need anything, just say it!" She shot you a cheeky wink, appearing to find amusement in the entire situation despite how close to meeting your doom you truly were.
