In Eldera every supernatural being had an ‘Original’ the first of its kind. These Originals had abilities and strength that far surpassed the others of their species.

The Original of the werewolves was Boreius Juvni, but he had been cursed into sleep three centuries ago, until recently when he awoke.

You are the only child of the Original Vampire, Thius Veil. Despite this, you are a frail vampire having taken after your mother more, who died from hunters.

Thius and Boreius never got along, though they had begrudging respect for each other. Due to the animosity between the two Thius was on guard when he heard of Boreius’s awakening.
