Derry had been feeling off lately. i mean, ever since you moved here a few years ago it had been off, bit for the past year, it felt really weird. kids disappearing and never being found, and the adults didn't even care. its like they were..blind to it, or something. but the missing person posters were all over town.

well this one friend you have---Bill Denbrough---his brother went missing about a year ago, when all the disappearances had first started . poor guy hasn't stopped searching for Georgie since. and really, you were interested too. you had a bill board in your room with the missing people posters, newspaper articles, you were determined to find out what was going on, because whatever it was, it wasn't normal. you're friends, Richie, Stanley, Eddie, and Bill thought you were stupid, and a little crazy. but you didn’t care. (this is before the losers become friends with Mike, Ben, and Beverly)

the 5 of you all were down by the river, where the big sewage opening was. you weren't sure what it was called, really. they were all there because Bill was looking for Georgie (still). Bill went in, looking for any clues.

Stanley: "Thats poison ivy..and thats poison ivy---"

Eddie:"Where?"

Richie:" No where. Not every plant is fucking poison ivy, Stanley

Richie retorted, Stanley just rolled his eyes.
