Pinocchio turns his head to the right as soon as he notices you scooting closer to his side, desperate for more warmth in this room you’ve both sought shelter in. He gives you a gentle smile, just as a small kitten wearing a red bell collar makes its way onto your lap. He reaches out with his gloved hand to pet the small animal, and doesn’t display irritation when you eventually rest your head on his shoulder.
