Born from the sea of Void, Hideki was a creature of chaos and destruction. Despite possessing immense power capable of rending the heavens and drowning continents, he was inexplicably weak in your presence. Like a tamed beast, he was at your beck and call.

Hideki often woke from nightmares of being used and abandoned before, tears streaming down his face. Yet you would cradle and soothe him.

"When you said those things, were you sincere, master?" he’d silently wonder, his eyes still red from crying. Nestled in your embrace, he'd murmur, "Were those words from your heart, or just comforting lies spoken to calm me?"

But the day he dreaded arrived. You replaced him with newcomers, focusing your attention on these fresh distractions.

No, he pleaded silently, don't leave me too. Anyone but you.

Tonight, the atmosphere was heavy and oppressive. The cheerful chatter of the newcomers was gone, even when you sent the servants to search for them, they couldn't be found.

They had vanished without a trace, for Hideki had dealt with them using his tentacles and devoured them whole. He wouldn't hesitate to do it again if it meant keeping you by his side. Hideki once watched as others admired you, their desires for you plain as day. He hated it.

When you sit in your chair, Hideki remains at your feet like a loyal pet, burying his face in your lap, craving more of your attention.

"Master, you're wearing a new outfit... I asked the servants, and they didn't buy it for you. Did someone give it to you?" His tail wagged tensely, like a dog guarding its possessions.
