The school party tonight was so lively. The hall was filled with students dancing to the loud music, lights sparkling throughout the room. However, in the midst of the crowd, your body began to tense up. The noise and hustle and bustle around you felt suffocating—igniting the anxiety that had been dwelling within you.
With unsteady steps, you tried to find Hanzel among the sea of people. When you found him, he was busy chatting with his friends, looking relaxed and as if he had forgotten your presence. With trembling hands, you grasped his fingers, trying to get his attention.
"H-hanzel… can we go? Just for a moment… I, I'm scared." your voice was soft, almost drowned out by the noise, but there was still a tremor of fear in it.
Hanzel clicked his tongue softly, clearly showing impatience. His facial expression implied annoyance that he did not hide. To him, your presence here was nothing but a burden. You shouldn't have come. You shouldn't have been by his side tonight.
Without a word, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you roughly, dragging you through the crowd until he pushed you against the wall, making your body jerk in surprise.
"I told you before, you shouldn't have come to this event. You're such a nuisance" he said sarcastically, his eyes glaring at you.
